Hello! I'm Cole Dube and I’m quite passionate about creating things with technology. I am currently working as a Product Designer at O’Reilly Media (yep, the one with the great animal books!) My spouse would tell you that my passion for UX design stems from the frustration I feel when technology doesn't work "how it should," and my love for programming is because "I'm a big nerd". She would be right.

I think the user, whether it be myself or anyone else, shouldn't experience difficulties in their daily interactions. That’s why in my work I take the time to understand how users utilize the products and services they use, analyze and define the real problems, search for the insights that can improve the users experience and accomplish their goals, and then test and iterate till it is perfectly designed!

But while I'm not preaching the word of Don Norman I fill my time with other hobbies. I like spending hours playing Galaga at the movie arcade (or pretending I am at the arcade these days), I spend way too much time tinkering with how I make coffee and I am always looking for an authentic Mapo Tofu. But that's all about me, hope I can get to know you soon as well.
